coyote and I they say coyote looks over his shoulder when he walks out like a man a jester and fool so far, the desert remains whatever we may do I have seen wildflowers grow from Kleenex and I have seen lizards at home in the dead beetle carcasses of cars the desert blooms for just two weeks a year and they say coyote looks over his shoulder can we agree to meet coyote and I at the other side of the world? © 1990 by Beth Stevens |
